Key features of the new printers include print speeds ranging from 30 to 35 pages per minute, 1200 x 1200 dpi print quality and automatic duplex and networking capabilities as standard. Adding scan, copy and fax to their printing capabilities, the DocuPrint M355 df and DocuPrint M255 z also offer Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and the ability to print and scan directly to a USB storage device. Select models also include wireless networking support and enterprise data encryption technology.
All models utilise EA-Eco Toner by Fuji Xerox which enable them to operate using less heat, and therefore less power. Engineered to melt at a temperature 20 degrees lower than conventional toner, EA-Eco Toner reduces power consumption by up to 40 percent.
The first of the new models to be released in Australia is the DocuPrint P255 dw. We're hoping to have the full range available by the end of August 2012.
